A TOOL Experience
My Third Eye is a tribute band formed in Southern Maryland in 2025 to create an authentic experience for TOOL fans, hard-core and casual alike.
The band not only focuses on sonically recreating TOOL’s tone, polyrhythmic intricacies, and vocal inflection and performance for authenticity, their tribute is accompanied by mind-melting visuals as a complete production.
Their well-curated set list focuses on performing songs from TOOL’s most musical popular era, the one fans miss hearing live the most: 1992-2006. Their set list includes the songs you saw on MTV and heard on the radio, plus a healthy variety of deep cuts and fan-favorites.
MTE’s first show was a sold out performance at The Rex Theater (capacity 350) in Leonardtown, Md., Saturday 25, 2026.
The band is currently looking for opportunities to bring their show to a venue near you.
MTE comprises Josh Johnson (guitar), Ryan Baldwin (drums), Jebus (bass), and Jay Simpson (vocals).
